Description:
In the center of a 12 ft by 12 ft box made of logs or poles place a wildlife simulation. Riders are asked to enter the box from one direction and walk around the “wildlife” without touching it (don’t wake it up!) and exit the box in the opposite direction.

Options:

  • Open division may be asked to enter the box and then back a circle around the wildlife

How is it Judged?

  • Penalties for stepping out of the box on the box or on the wildlife
  • Horse should be in a smooth arc with his bod in the direction of travel
  • Rider aids should be quiet and not obvious
  • Riders should look in the direction of travel
  • Riders to remain centered and balanced and not lean into the turn
