Description:
Riders will encounter “traffic” on the trail and must calmly and safely pass.
Options:
- Be prepared for any type of traffic! May be something as simple as a hiker or biker or as exotic as other livestock
- Lower divisions will pass a stationary object
- Open division could encounter a moving object
How is it Judged?
- Horse should be calm and willing to move forward
- Penalty for backing or bolting
- Points awarded to riders who yield the hind quarters away from “traffic” demonstrating safety and courtesy to humans on the ground.
